Start of the event and Briefing

Stage 0 - Check-In

The first day of the event during the \\\"pasta dinner\\\" or welcome dinner, the head of the racing or the race director, will give comprehensive information on the entire race, as well as of the first stage.

At the end of each stage during the pasta dinner of that day there will take place a detailed briefing of the next stage. The head of the competition and the race director will inform the participants about the specific characteristics of the next stage.

In the starting area, participants will be placed on the grid for 45 minutes before the officially announced time of the start of the race in order to take position. The race director will give daily updates about 15 minutes before departure.

The daily starting point will remain open until 10 minutes after the official starting time. Teams or individual participants that begin the race during the 10 minutes after the official starting time will be 

classified according to the official starting time. Teams or individual participants leaving 10 minutes later than the official start time will not be considered for classification, but may continue in the race.

In the first stage, the position of each participant in the grid will be marked by the starting number. In the following stages, the position in the overall standings will determine the starting order of teams to make it easier for leaders to leave early and then later on people who are walking.

NEUTRALIZED START

A neutralized start will always be announced by the race director during the information meeting. During the neutralized start overtaking the safety vehicle (car or motorcycle) is not permitted until the official announcement of the start.
